Are you looking for engaging piano lessons for your kids?

With a Master’s Degree in Music from Utrecht Conservatory and a second Master’s from Fontys Academy of Music and Performing Arts Tilburg, I provide dynamic early music education and foundational piano instruction. My lessons focus on fundamental musical skills through interactive games and exercises in rhythm, pitch, melody recognition, and musical memory. Each lesson plan is customized to fit the student’s age, needs, and skill level.

Recorder, (baroque) oboe or music theory lessons.
I started with recorder when I was 6 years old and later with the oboe.
I came to the Netherlands in 1999 to study baroque oboe and got my Master of Music degree in 2005.
Since 1997 I have given private lessons (both for oboe and recorder) and am an oboe teacher with the Leer Orkest Amsterdam. I have a lot of experience with children and adult students.
In addition to my activities as a teacher I am also very active as a performing musician
The lessons are for all ages and levels, I can teach at my home or at your home in the The Hague region.

Mariña

Passionate oboist and dedicated teacher with experience in guiding students of all ages. Inspired by the wonderful mentors who shaped my own musical journey, I aim to share both my knowledge and my love for the oboe. My lessons are tailored to each student, combining solid technical foundations with enjoyable repertoire—making the learning process both rewarding and fun, just as I have always experienced it.

With younger learners, I connect oboe playing to movement, rhythm, and singing, creating playful and engaging learning spaces while naturally reinforcing music theory concepts.

I believe in nurturing creativity, confidence, and empathy so that every student feels valued and inspired. Flexibility in lesson design and scheduling is always part of my approach.
