My name is Clement (Clem) and I am an 18-year-old economics student at LSE with a passion for teaching and mentoring. My academic background includes advanced knowledge in mathematics, which I apply to help students grasp complex concepts in an engaging and relatable way.
Having worked as a tutor and a lifeguard, I bring a blend of responsibility, patience, and excellent communication skills to my work. I’ve also served as a well-being mentor and captain of my school’s football team, roles that honed my leadership and ability to inspire others.
As someone who has successfully navigated academic challenges, I strive to support my students in overcoming hurdles, boosting their confidence, and achieving their goals. My teaching style emphasises clarity, encouragement, and a tailored approach to suit individual needs. I firmly believe that everyone learns best in a unique way, and my job is to find that way to facilitate those high grades!
When I’m not tutoring, I’m involved in pursuits like playing chess and poker, and mentoring students from low socio-economic backgrounds, reflecting my commitment to personal growth and social betterment.
