I’m an Australian born classical piano and English teacher currently residing in Belgrade, Serbia.

I have over 7 years experience teaching students classical piano and 3 years teaching English. I am very passionate about learning and follow through with this through my mentoring. I am a Masters graduate with additional certificates in both AMEB and TESOL.

My name is Lena.
I’m an Australian born piano teacher currently residing in Belgrade, Serbia. I have over 7 years of experience teaching private piano lessons to students of all ages (from 4 years - adult) from various cultural backgrounds in Sydney, Australia.
I have also organized yearly concerts for all my students and am very passionate about introducing the art of music to beginners and those wanting to improve their theory and piano technique. I aim to provide a positive music experience to piano teaching for leisure as well as for those wishing to prepare for graded exams. I have previously prepared students for AMEB and ABRSM exams.

I have completed AMEB certificate grade in piano and have spent almost all my life performing at eisteddfods
and concerts.

Class is based on the individual wishes of clients, depending on what you want for your child: Class A (I prepare various topics/stories for a child to learn about), Class B (Oxford Phonics books - materials that help children to learn correct pronunciation of the letters/words) or A+B Class (recommended for the best results). I am adjusting my classes to match each child's needs and interests in order to have happy and successful working environment.

My classes are tailored towards the student needs aiming at scoring at least one full band above the desired one. This way, we maximise the chances of passing the exam with top grades!

The first 10 mutes are dedicated to requests, venting, needs, doubts, and clarification. Then, we focus exclusively on the exam combining theory and practice. Classes typically follow the 4 sections that compose the exam while leaving free choice with regards to the textbook or sources to use.

I provide my students with documents containing my personal tips and tricks to minimise external factors related to anxiety/pressure while strengthening skills and strategic concentration.

I am available to commute (trip paid by the student) to Novi Sad.

I have 10 years of experience in tutoring English as a second language and I have specialised in IELTS since 2013. My students have ALWAYS passed the test and you can find their reviews.
