Me llamo Marc, tengo 42 años y soy de Barcelona. Después de haber completado el curso de formación de profesores de ELE en International House (Barcelona) empecé a trabajar como profesor de español en Sydney (Australia) y después también en Barcelona.

En mis anteriores trabajos como profesor durante los últimos diez años he aprendido a adaptarme a diferentes tipos de grupos con diferentes edades y niveles, y también he aprendido a tratar con una gran variedad de alumnos diferentes.

Como profesor de español uso principalmente la metodología comunicativa que aprendí en el curso de formación de profesores, pero puedo adaptarme a otro tipo de metodologías. Soy muy responsable y me considero creativo, motivado y flexible.

Siempre intento que mis clases sean divertidas y a la vez de provecho para el aprendizaje y la práctica de los estudiantes.

My name is Irene. I come from Guadalajara, a town close to Madrid, but live in beautiful Barcelona.

I understood very early that I like not only learning but also teaching languages and studied my Masters of Linguistics Applied to Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. I have lived in France, India, Germany and Russia teaching Spanish. During these 15 years of teaching, I learnt a lot about different methods, people and logics.
I use a variety of resources (textbooks, articles, small videos, audios...) providing examples, exercises and homework so that what is to be learnt is doable and designed for your learning preferences. I adapt my classes to what students want and need so they make the most of their time and money.

I think it is very important for students to feel comfortable and safe. It is also essential that what we do and talk about in class makes sense and is relevant for you. It is your goal and personal style of learning what will define our classes.

I also speak English, French, German and Russian. I can explain in the student′ s mother tongue if necessary although my goal will be to speak Spanish from the very beginning with affordable exercises adapted to your level.

I love teaching and learning new languages because they bring us closer.
