I'm an assiduous and punctual teacher who enjoys seeing my students progress. I try to organize the syllabus as well as possible, because I believe that only with a lot of organization can you progress on the instrument.
My experience allows me to find different ways of explaining the subject, with great patience and flexibility.
I'm available to teach the basics, as well as more advanced theory and preparing students for higher education.

My name is João, his professional Classical Guitar with more than 15 years of experience. He has studied guitar performance at the Prince Claus Conservatoire in Holland and in Musical Pedagogy at the University of Aveiro. In addition to classical music, he also has considerable experience in other genres, such as blues, folk and rock. ABOUT HOW TO TAKE CLASSES

My methodology is based on the student's interests, adapting to their preferred genres and supporting the student according to their goals, from those who want to be able to play an instrument as a hobby to those who want to train as a professional musician.

It doesn't matter what level you start at! My priority is to create an environment where you feel comfortable, set small challenges to make learning exciting and see your progress through these achievements. We will use a comprehensive approach where we will combine theory with practice from the beginning, so that you are able to understand in depth what you are playing.

My main goal is to share my passion for this art and help my students find and cultivate theirs!
