My name's Robert, and I provide comprehensive maths tutoring tailored to your learning style. I have A*'s in both maths and further maths at A-Level, and a 9 in maths at GSCE. As someone who's been through the frustrating situation of not understanding a maths problem no matter how many times someone explains it, I know how vital it is to have the right explanation when you just don't get it. I studied Edexcel maths and further maths at A-Level, as well as Edexcel maths at GCSE, but I am more than willing to apply my knowledge to teaching the syllabuses of other exam boards.

Whether it's some tricky statistics, a complicated mechanics problem, or you just can't get your head around trigonometry, my lessons will focus on coming up with different ways to explain a problem, so that we can find the way that works best for you to understand. I'm dedicated to turning anything you find hard into something that comes naturally to you, and then you might see how enjoyable maths can really be!

My name is Robert, and I believe that with the right understanding, anyone can improve quickly at a subject. When I was doing my GCSEs and A-Levels, I found that when I found something hard, a lot of the time it was just because I hadn't had it explained in the right way. Even if you think you know how to do something, sometimes you are really only repeating it, and without truly understanding it you aren't reaching your full potential.

That's why, as a tutor, I focus on providing explanations that work for you, and I try to understand what would fit your learning style best. I'm always willing to go over anything no matter how small, because I know exactly how frustrating it is to not get something, especially the small things.

Another focus I have is making learning enjoyable, because if you don't enjoy it, then you won't learn as effectively. So, all I ask for from a student is that you're eager to learn, open-minded to new explanations, and that you want to enjoy your studies.

I have studied both GCSE and A-Level physics with a 9 at GCSE and an A* at A-Level, so I know what it takes to learn all of that information and perform your best in the final exam. It still isn't easy, but with the right teaching and practice, we can make sure that you have the best shot at a good grade in your exam, and that revision is stress free! I also teach physics below GCSE level to anyone who might be thinking about taking it as a GCSE, just wanting a taste of what the subject is like and how you can start learning about things that will get you ahead in the future!

1) high-school students undergoing VWO or an IB curriculum, who are having problems following math at school or university,
