Hi! I am a FIDE Master and a professional chess player who plays in the Turkish Super League regularly. I have also been teaching chess for 5 years to pupils of various ages and levels. I enjoy both activities, playing and teaching, immensely and that's why I've quit my engineering job and devoted myself fully to teaching chess! My other chess-related activities include writing articles for a chess magazine and several chess websites as well as doing Youtube streams on chess. Chess is a discipline that requires active learning. So lessons are more useful when they're focused on problem-solving. I am building the lesson structure on active learning and the last 10 minutes are spared for practical play. On the other hand, if there is a special subject you want to work on, it's also possible for us to focus just on that topic. Of course, I'll give you assignments after each lesson and expect your full commitment.
