My classes, for beginner pianists, aim to discover the student's best learning approach and develop their playing style, in order to gain a foundational understanding and ability in classical piano. Classes cover essential performance elements of classical solo piano, namely (in no particular order); ○Music theory and notation ○Sight reading ○Scales ○Fingering techniques ○Guided selection of performance pieces to suit the student's playing style. A successful class allows for the student to influence the pace and content, with a focus on reaching their goals and eventually learning an entire piece of pop/classical music to performance level.
