I specialise in biology, chemistry and maths or (the sciences) at all levels from ages 4-17. My aim is to set small targets Each session to help achieve the end goal of the student. Regular test will be set on topics frequently to ensure everything taught is fixed in their long term memory. Exam technique - Sometimes we are amazing at knowing all the right content but not knowing exactly how to answer exam questions. It’s ok because this is a skill that has to be taught. We will break down questions into categories of their key words and i will teach the student how to answer it. Once that is done the student will have time (in lesson or out of lesson) to practice how to answer the questions. Overall my aim is not to teach the student to memorise but to teach them to understand so they can apply their knowledge in any scenario. I also teach drama to primary and secondary students consisting of trips and physical activity
