Josh has been teaching Guitar and Music Theory for 2 years to a range of different ages and abilities. By creating individually tailored lessons for each student, Josh focusses on personal interests and goals in order to keep sessions interesting and fun. However, whilst doing this, focus is maintained on the areas of those interests which will help with kickstarting their progression! A typical lesson will consist of working on a song, technique, theory , or all of them combined. From this, students will get to keep their worksheets, leaving plenty of resources for individual practise! Josh has been working as a musician for several years, gigging, teaching, and composing professionally. Alongside this, he graduated from LIPA with a First Class Honours in Music. Josh also possesses music theory knowledge up to ABRSM Grade 5. As a session musician, Josh covers a large range of genres regularly and can cater to many different interests for his students. However, the genres of Rock, Jazz, Funk, and Soul are his preferred styles. Josh looks forward to hearing from you for all of your Guitar and/or Music Theory needs. Thanks!
