Fille de commerçante, j’ai commencé ma vie professionnelle sur les marchés bretons. La vente, j’ai ça dans le sang ! Côté études, j’ai effectué un MASTER Commerce & Entrepreneuriat en 5 années d’alternance à travers 3 entreprises. J’ai travaillé dans le domaine de l’agroalimentaire (Hénaff), de l’informatique (3Ci) et de l'hôtellerie BtoB (CERISE).

Diplôme en poche, je fus recruté par SOLUTYS Group, acteur majeur dans la logistique et l’industrie. Le souci, c’est que mon poste était complet : ingénieur commercial et copywriter. Je vendais en serrant des poignées de main, mais aussi par les mots derrière un ordinateur. Mon patron aimait ma plume et me demandait - finalement - d’écrire tous les supports de vente pour l’entreprise (site web, article de blog, posts réseaux sociaux, e-mailing...). Je passais donc plus de temps au bureau qu’en rendez-vous client.

Pour ajouter une corde à mon arc, et faire les choses en bonne et due forme, j’ai voulu me former au métier de Copywriter de façon officielle pour décrocher une certification en conception-rédaction. À 30 ans, validation passée et une pandémie par-dessus le marché, j’ai eu besoin de me lancer. J’avais (aussi) fait des études pour ça, et l’entrepreneuriat était dans ma lignée. Mon employeur l’a accepté et c’est même mon client à présent !

Depuis maintenant 3 ans, je suis à mon compte et ne reviendrai au salariat pour rien au monde...

I'm a Native-Speaking English teacher with over 3 years of experience, this class is specific for anyone who wants to improve their Business English.

All the lessons are student-customised, which could include Business Writing (emails, business letters, memos, reports, proposals, etc) & Business Speaking (improving business vocabulary, presentations, meetings, phone handling).

I'm experienced in preparing lesson plans, developing authentic teaching materials, and communicative classroom activities and also focused on teaching through visuals, games, real materials, TPR activities and using technology.

In the language schools I worked at, I was specialised in teaching 1-2-1 classes to Upper-Intermediate and Advanced Students, many of my students were interested in Business English. I prepare my own lesson plans and teaching materials, which I consider as one of the most important stages of teaching. The effective lesson plans and appropriate teaching materials are the keys to engage the learners in the learning process actively and motive them.

Hey!

I offer personalized English lessons online and around Leipzig (4km ratio from Johannapark) . I am a native English speaker from the USA, with over 4 years of teaching experience and TEFL certification.

I focus primarily on working with adults, especially those who feel fear of the language barrier. In the past two years, I have taught business courses, but also courses for employees of cultural institutions, students of fine arts departments and employees of the US embassy.

During our sessions we delve into engaging conversations while focusing on grammar and new vocabulary. The comfort of the students is key for me, and in order to track progress, we regularly conduct short tests.
