With extensive teaching experience, I offer personalized violin lessons in both French and English to students of all ages and levels. My international background has provided me with a rich musical and pedagogical foundation, which I use for my teaching methods to each student’s needs and goals. Je suis étudiante en Master en violon, ayant étudié à la Haute École de Musique de Genève et poursuivant désormais ma formation à Helsinki en Master à la Sibelius Academy. Avec des années d'expérience dans l'enseignement à des étudiants de tous âges et de tous niveaux en français et en anglais, je suis passionné par le partage et l’enseignement du violon. J'aime travailler avec des étudiants dévoués et enthousiastes, des débutants aux plus avancés. Ma méthode d'enseignement est flexible et centrée sur l'étudiant, en se concentrant sur les bases techniques, l’expression et l'éducation musicale complète. Mon expérience internationale enrichit mes cours et j'ai préparé avec succès les étudiants aux examens, auditions et performances. Je crois en la création d'un environnement favorable où les étudiants peuvent être eux-mêmes et exprimer leur individualité à travers la musique.

Rhythm is one of the basics of music, and for me is the most important one. Everything is based on rhythm and it's wonderful to discover the interrelationship between them. I can teach percussion lessons for all levels. Let's discover how wonderful rhythm is!

I am a Graduate in Viola at the Valencia Conservatory of Music and right now I am finishing my Master studies at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki.
I also offer Harmony, Analysis, Music History and music theory classes!

Violin learning is the process of discovering one's own voice through the infinite possibilities that this four strings instrument has to offer. From sparkling, intense and rough to pure, kind and crystalline; learning the violin, as many other arts, is about freeing the emotion through the discipline and order of sound and movement.

I am Ángeles, an Andalusian in Finland, finishing my master degree in Music Performance at the prestigious Sibelius Academy with great professor Mari Tampere-Bezrodny. I came to Helsinki two years ago seeking for a personal and cultural growth, with huge passion for music and the need to share it. I discovered in violin teaching a new path to that energy to come true, to materialize, by inspiring and leading enthusiastic students to their best performance.

Diogo is a curious musician, being part of different projects such as the Kaamos Duo (contemporary music for saxophone and soprano singer), chamber music with pianist Lambis Pavlou and Cantus Portugueses (traditional portuguese music with a modern twist). He also plays as a member of the contemporary music groups Korvat Auki and the Nyky Ensemble.
His main musical interests at the moment are the collaborations with living composers, chamber music with different ensembles, and interdisciplinary improvisation.
Diogo performances have taken place in many venues such as the Philharmonie of Essen, OrchesterZentrum Dortmund, Music Center Helsinki, Turku Castle, Liceu Auditorium Barcelona, Casa da Música do Porto, and many more.

Diogo's recognition includes prizes in some international competitions and the recent recognition at the 2022 Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy competition for Contemporary Ensembles and the recent participation at the prestigious Josip Nochta Competition in Zagreb, Croatia.

Diogo teaches all saxophones and ensemble playing in Portuguese, Spanish, English and German.
