Western Armenian is a language that has been put in the endangered language's list, and I personally believe that such a rich language should never die. I believe that I am taking a huge initiative to be one of the individuals who'll try to save this important language from disappearing.
I try to make my lessons as interacting as possible. The lessons and exercises will be provided through PowerPoint presentations. I try to listen to my student in order to prepare the lesson plan together, according to his needs and preferences.
I've always been the smiling and friendly tutor who makes the student comfortable during the lessons. I believe that in order to reach the students you need to understand them also emotionally and psychologically.

TECHNOLOGIES AT THE SERVICE OF LEARNING.

My name is Laurie and I am an independent FLE teacher, graduated in French and Romance Languages and Literature since 2012. I have eight years of experience under my belt (abroad and in Belgium). I created a learning method for online courses. I have been preparing students for the DELF, DALF, TCF, FIDE, admission exams, etc. for several years.

The course includes:
-The material (articles, videos, exercises based on images and texts, grammatical theory, links to the exercises, etc.). I use google doc, so the ideal is to have a gmail address to be able to access it.
-Correction of exercises outside the course (written expressions are corrected outside the course, or with the student, depending on their needs).
-Access to an application (free) to study vocabulary on your smartphone.
-A vocabulary sheet - pronunciation - grammar/conjugation, sent after each lesson.
-If necessary, a recording of the vocabulary (for beginners).
-Carrying out online exercises and tests based on the vocabulary sheets sent.
-Motivation, laughter, good humor :-)

My method:
-It is oral based.
-For grammar, I use a particular method which allows oral structures to be automated.
-We work on pronunciation with the verbotonal method (exercises to pose your voice, for rhythm, etc.). I might even make you sing! :-)
-Everything goes through the oral before going through the writing but I obviously adapt to the needs of the students.
-The course is a little different for children and teenagers: I use interactive games and cards via the webcam.

I like to use different methods to teach French to students. It can be through songs, drama, role play or videos. I also very often use situations close to the student's experience, such as describing places they have been or talking about what they have experienced. At the same time, I teach the grammar rules to the student. I now live in regions where French has been spoken for over 30 years. Mijn interesse en passie liggen vooral bij de vakken geschiedenis, aardrijkskunde en maatschappijleer/burgerschap. Ik vind het belangrijk om deze vakken niet alleen inhoudelijk duidelijk uit te leggen, maar ook te laten zien hoe ze aansluiten bij de actualiteit en de belevingswereld van leerlingen.
