Hey there, My name is Danger Rodriguez and As a Cuban Salsa instructor, my classes focus on teaching the fundamentals of Cuban-style salsa, also known as Casino salsa. My classes are designed to cater to dancers of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced. My classes emphasize the importance of rhythm and timing in Cuban salsa. We will cover the basic steps, footwork, turns, partner work, body movement, and styling. Understanding and interpreting the music through movement is vital to becoming a skilled salsa dancer. I also strongly emphasize developing good technique, as this is crucial to executing more complex steps and turns safely and efficiently. Students will learn how to move smoothly and fluidly and how to lead and follow with confidence. Finally, I strive to create a fun and supportive learning environment in my classes. I want my students to feel comfortable and confident on the dance floor and enjoy learning and improving their skills.

I am Chinese, and graduated from the top institute in China, Beijing Normal University which is the leader in the country for teacher education. LESSONS FOR ADULTS If you would like to take the official HSK exam, I have developed an effective program to help you learn and prepare for the exam. I will propose a preparation plan for the exam that will last 3 to 6 months. I can also teach you the Chinese business culture, how to communicate with Chinese business people. LESSONS FOR CHILDREN I believe that the most important thing in teaching is to trigger the interest and curiosity of children. I have therefore developed a playful and creative method. For each face-to-face class, I create exercises, readings, paper assignments, and educational board games. All this is adapted to the level and preferences of each student. For the online courses, I create my own interactive presentations with examples, conversations, pictures, photos, and exercises to stimulate discussion and memory. For children who wish to take the official HSK exam, I also integrate exam preparation into my classes.

The language courses aim to help some pupils who have difficulties in German and English by giving them the opportunity to ask questions about what they did not understand in class in order to receive additional help and customized. I can adapt my lessons according to the needs of the student and give certain playful exercises if they are motivated to work outside the lessons. Homework help allows children to better understand what they did not understand in class to continue learning on solid foundations. I can also prepare exercises according to their needs.
