French Private Lessons for any level (taught in English)

I offer private tutoring lessons in French using interactive approaches and methods adapted to each student.

During the lessons you will be able to practice your reading, speaking and writing skills. I will also introduce you to the francophone culture, including literature.

I grew up in Geneva and I am currently a PhD student at ETHZ. The lessons I am offering are suitable for any level - from beginners to advanced students - both for secondary school and University students.

One of my priority will be to help you reach constantly new objectives while enjoying learning.

Über mich

I am 29 and I grew up in Geneva. I obtained a Bachelor's at EPFL in Life Sciences & Technologies in 2018 and then went to Zürich where I completed a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering. In 2022, I moved to Basel to undertake a Ph.D. in the field of Biosystems Science & Engineering.
Besides studying, I have a deep interest in music (I play the guitar since the age of 6).

I offer private tutoring lessons using interactive approaches and methods adapted to each student. Lessons can be given in English or French.

I recently obtained a Masters in Biomedical engineering at ETH Zurich and I have a large experience in applied Mathematics, Physics and Biology. The lessons I am offering are suitable for any level - from beginners to advanced students - both for secondary school and University programs.

One of my priority will be to help you reach constantly new objectives while enjoying learning.

I offer Japanese lessons that focus on grammar and vocabulary—both common difficulties—as well as spoken language. The goal of the course is to cover the technical aspects of the language without being overly theoretical or academic.

In my lessons, I combine the theoretical aspect of the language, which is essential for speaking correctly, with the practical aspect, which enables one to express oneself clearly and interact effectively with native speakers – while maintaining a certain distance from both sides.

Through my experience in interpreting from Japanese and my stays in Japan, I can convey a natural and spontaneous approach to the language.

The course focuses on grammar, vocabulary, and writing (kanji). From the perspective of an Indo-European language speaker, the course aims to help learners acquire the structure of the Japanese language naturally, freeing themselves from any possible unconscious biases inherent in their own language.

I also place particular emphasis on the connection between written and spoken language—an aspect that often seems surprising in Japanese—so as not to separate the two elements.

Spanish is our native language, and we offer Spanish lessons. We have studied Spanish, German, English, Italian, and French and teach at various schools in Basel. We offer individualized lessons for all learning levels (A1-C2), assist with exam preparation, provide conversation lessons, and are happy to help improve written expression. In an initial consultation, we can define your goals together and discuss any organizational questions. We look forward to meeting you.

I have been giving tutoring lessons for 4 years, especially for children/young people in primary/secondary school.
There I help with homework and test preparation in the subjects French, math and German (other subjects are also possible).
I completed high school with a focus on Spanish bilingual French and will start my studies at the PH in September 2023.
