Writing tasks encourage creativity and accuracy, with a strong focus on vocabulary building, sentence structure, punctuation, and the use of adjectives, verbs, and connectives. Phonics and spelling strategies are woven through the lessons to strengthen decoding and encoding skills, while speaking and listening are developed through partner talk, drama, role-play, and group discussion.
