I graduated from the Turkish Language and Literature department, where I gained a deep understanding of the Turkish language, literature, and culture. In the same year, I received a Turkish Teaching Certificate for Foreigners and a Pedagogical Formation Certificate. After graduation, I started to work with my university professors directing them to foreigners in the field of teaching Turkish. I am Laura , a Spanish woman living in The Hague. I have been teaching and helping high school students with their homework and study methods since 2014 as a private tutor. I have experience as a language teacher in different schools in Madrid (extracurricular activities) for children between 3 and 10 years old. Hello! 안녕세요! My name is Aki and I will soon graduate with a bachelor's degree in "Korean Studies" at Leiden University, part of which I spent at Sogang University in South Korea. During my studies, I mainly focus on pronunciation and conversation. However, during my stay in Korea, I noticed a big difference between "textbook Korean" and the Korean that people speak in everyday life. In my lessons, I try to keep this difference as small as possible and make it sound as natural as possible by focusing on conversations and modern vocabulary. We work with grammar, vocabulary and conversations around an overarching theme.
Although I have a basic package for beginners, I find it very important to look at the goals of the student. If you have specific goals or suggestions such as understanding K-pop songs, K-dramas or achieving Topik level 1-2, ... then I will gladly put together a personal package with matching themes that we will cover together.
