I am a primary school teacher with 8 years of experience in Greece's private and public schools. I am also a qualified special education teacher, having worked with several children over all these years. Being passionate about my work, I immerse myself in children's personalities, understanding their needs and interests, and finally help them realize their full potential. Είμαι δασκάλα γενικής και ειδικής αγωγής εδώ και 8 χρόνια. Έχω δουλέψει σε δημόσια και ιδιωτικά σχολεία στην Αθήνα, Θεσσαλονίκη, Σέρρες και στην Καλαμάτα. Κάνω ιδιαίτερα μαθήματα σε παιδιά δημοτικού ήδη 10 χρόνια. Αγαπάω πολύ την δουλειά μου, γιατί μαθαίνω κι εγώ πολλά από τα παιδιά!
Έχω συνεργαστεί με πολλά παιδιά όλα αυτά τα χρόνια. Διακρίνω τις ανάγκες του κάθε μαθητή και δουλεύω μέσω της ενθάρρυνσης, της ενίσχυσης με στοχευμένες ασκήσεις και κατάλληλο εκπαιδευτικό υλικό για να κατανοήσουν και να αφομοιώσουν την νέα γνώση. Μου αρέσει να βοηθάω τους μαθητές μου να σκέφτονται κι "έξω από το κουτί".

I was born in Istanbul in 1983. I started teaching Turkish while studying Turkish Language and Literature at university. I worked in a language school and at universities. I have been teaching Turkish professionally for more than 16 years. I also taught Turkish for 5 years when I was a university student. In 2018, I obtained a TESOL certificate and also began teaching English.

I teach both adults and children. Creating a comfortable learning environment for my students is one of my top priorities. If you would like to learn Turkish or English in a consistent and structured way, I would be happy to work with you.

I hold firmly to two main principles: creating a comfortable space for learning and building an encouraging atmosphere.

My students often describe me as patient, positive, and well-organised. Over time, I’ve found my own way of making Turkish feel easier, more enjoyable, and more practical to learn.

I love shaping each lesson around my students’ interests, needs, and learning styles. I adapt my teaching to the needs of students with special conditions, such as ADHD and OCD.

In my lessons, you’ll never feel afraid of making mistakes. Before long, you’ll start noticing them on your own and correcting yourself naturally.

Even though I use a communicative approach, my lessons are supported by a solid understanding of grammar, as Turkish has a very different structure.

I use the course book set prepared by Istanbul University. It follows a strategic approach to learning Turkish and includes all language skills—reading, grammar, writing, listening, watching, and speaking—from A1 to C2. All of these skills are essential for conversation.

I teach English for the A1 and A2 levels.

The workbook offers many exercises for homework or revision, and I support the book with my own authentic materials. I also use an interactive board that you can view anytime, and you can edit it as well. Repetition-based speaking practice plays an important role in my lessons.

I speak English well, and a bit of Italian, and I have also studied Persian and German grammar. I am interested in literature.
