Organic Chemistry for Beginners: Understanding the Basics

I am a passionate Nigerian researcher and educator born on July 10, 1988. I’m currently pursuing a PhD in Chemistry at the Euromed University of Fes, Morocco, after earning my Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Chemistry from Abant Izzet Baysal University in Turkey. My work focuses on creating new bioactive molecules, especially those aimed at fighting cancer, and I enjoy designing and synthesizing compounds like sulfonamides.
As a Lecturer in the Department of Chemistry at Yobe State University, I share my enthusiasm for chemistry with students, helping them explore its wonders. I’m proud to have received the ASRIC-UEMF prestigious PhD scholarship and to be a member of the Chemical Society of Nigeria. Fluent in English and Turkish, I also have basic knowledge of Arabic and Korean. Whether in the lab or the classroom, I am dedicated to inspiring the next generation of scientists and making a positive impact in the world.
