I have been an English and French tutor for 3 years! I

I absolutely love tutoring and find it an incredibly rewarding experience. I have tutored pupils of all ages; from 7 years old all the way through to tutoring a-level and undergraduate students. I specialise in exam preparation for the 11+ and GCSE as I have extensively tutored pupils for this exam and have a number of great resources and exam techniques that I would love to share!

I have great knowledge of all A level and GCSE exam board alongside having tutored the 11+ for both grammar and independent schools. I have also tutored the Cambridge IGCSE English as a first language and helped international students prepare for the 11+. Having tutored a range of students for the past three years I can confidently offer all levels of English tutoring, however, I only offer GCSE level and below for french!

My Lessons are completely tailored to the pupil - whatever they need or want I will help them with. Typically I tend to spend the lessons talking through and explaining exam questions with them so that they understand how to answer certain questions and I also find that this flags up any gaps in their knowledge. From there I will plan sessions that will focus on their weaknesses and find often that working through these problems with a tutor slowly is a great way for them to completely understand where perhaps they were going wrong.
