I am a private bilingual tutor providing Film, Photography, Social Media Marketing, and Content Creation lessons to students in both English and Romanian. If you are determined and eager to learn, please reach out and I will be your guide on this journey.
A few facts about me: I have a Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies and Literature from the University of Essex, a Master of Arts in Film, Photography, and Media from the University of Leeds, and several professional certifications in Social Media and Digital Marketing from accredited institutions. In addition to this, as part of my academic degrees I acquired interdisciplinary knowledge of philosophy, psychology, and cultural studies, whilst applying psychology & philosophical concepts to cinematic and literary works.
My background encompasses creating and promoting educational and informative
digital content and managing digital projects focused on stimulating knowledge of art, psychology, and film, as well as sharing knowledge of exhibitions and events in cultural venues. I also have experience of e-mentoring, social media coaching, and creating educational content for a mental health platform, as well as for a business rooted in neuroscience and mindfulness coaching.
As a prolific content writer and educational content creator who has acquired multidisciplinary knowledge within academic and professional contexts as well as through personal research and accredited courses, I am happy to impart my knowledge and skills to all those in need of my guidance and eclectic background.

My experience encompasses social media, film promotion, and digital publishing. I have obtained several professional qualifications in Social Media and Digital Marketing after completing accredited courses. I have in-depth knowledge of the digital marketing landscape and of the film world and I have used my digital platforms to educate my audience. My skills include image and video editing, social media graphics, and editing. I am the founder, editor, content leader, & social media manager of a popular digital platform with the aim of educating, enhancing understanding of art & film, encouraging meaningful discourse about the psychology of film, stimulating art and film appreciation, as well as promoting emerging multimedia artists, fine art photographers, and filmmakers. My digital activity also includes conducting in-depth interviews with artists, organising online screenings, and group film discussions.

I've designed this course to guide you as you delve into key aspects within the film world.
Academically-informed and intellectually stimulating, the course encompasses the study of quintessential arthouse films, surrealism in cinema, the intersections between psychology and film, classical horror narratives, oneiric films, and more modules that will allow you to gain valuable knowledge of cinema at an academic level.
The course has a clear structure and the activity will include online streaming of a carefully curated selection of films and clips, followed by in-depth analysis and interpretation. We will discuss underlying cinematic themes, psychoanalytical symbolism, stylistic categorisations, meta-references, the larger aesthetic value of the cinematic work, character development, feminist interpretations and critiques, and conceptual frameworks.
This course will include several 90-minutes classes; the number of classes can be adapted depending on your interests, needs, pace, and existing knowledge.
