Hi I'm Chloe :) Im an acting coach and working actor. I know how scary and daunting the acting world can be, especially when you're trying to train, work and audition at the same time. Im here to make the training side (of becoming an actor) become a fun and flexible experience.
What I can help train you in:
- I will help you learn how to apply yourself to scripts, using various different methods which I too have learnt while at Drama school.
- ill teach you how to develop a character and find a way to connect, through improvisation.
- I use many acting practioners methods, ranging from Uta Hagen to Meisner. Therefore we can work together to find out what works best for you.
-Ill help you learn how to match your voice and physicality towards your performance.
- we will also build confidence within performing Shakespeare and ill teach you new techniques on how to make a Shakespeare speech modern and exiting!
- throughout this process we will work towards finding you 3 contrasting monologues that work for you (2 contemporary and one Shakespeare) which will be perfect for either, acting auditions or drama school auditions.

My Acting workshops are a collaborative space, where I will work with you to help you find your ideal approach towards a character, script and performance.

Do you like to sing and want to develop your voice? Great, because singing is great fun and healthy!

During my lessons we will explore the possibilities of your voice together. The development of a healthy, natural voice and pleasure are central.
That is why the lessons are completely adapted to your qualities, taste and pace. Together we work on solid singing technique, breathing, articulation, interpretation, musicality and vocal hygiene. We explore the classical singing repertoire and look for music that suits your voice. You can also take a trip to other genres (jazz, pop, musical, ...) You learn to use your voice from a classical approach, but with good singing technique you can handle many styles!

About our partnership with Hollywood

Hollywood Actor's Showcase and Richie's Acting Workshop is one of the best-known, most influential acting schools in the United States. After 30 years of training for aspiring actors and Hollywood stars (including Scarlett Johansson and Drew Barrymore), she teamed up with Belgium's Badass Intensive Acting Studios last year to expand European. The goal is simple: to bring the authentic energy of Hollywood to Europe, so that even people who cannot afford to move to America themselves can receive the same education.

There are not many acting courses that focus on acting in front of the camera. After all, most schools teach you — implicitly or explicitly — theater techniques and while the art of acting itself remains central, it should be clear that acting for TV and film requires slightly different skills, as it usually involves subtler, smaller expressions and movements. . Film connoisseurs therefore know that the camera tends to notice the smallest emotion.

The most minuscule micro-expressions, the least obvious 'subtext' and the most layered interpretations are visible on both the large and the small screen.

In Belgium, Badass PR's Intensive Acting Courses have long been one of the few acting classes that deal exclusively with acting in front of the camera, supplemented with improvisation.

During the lessons, all the important acting techniques are discussed, including those of Adler, Chekhov, Hagen, Meisner, Practical Aesthetics, Stanislavski and Strasberg, but the goal remains the same: to forget technique in a sense and to act as naturally as you breathe. Badass Intensive Acting Studios' own technology, REPEAT, has also been developed for this.

Ever since author / coach / editor / PR consultant Dirk started teaching acting classes more than 10 years ago, he has tried to offer his students as many opportunities as he could. For example, the collaboration with Hollywood Actor's Showcase and Richie's Acting workshop has already paid off.

Of course it depends on many factors whether you can achieve success as an actor — a great deal of luck and a lot of dedication are usually very important — but the students at the Chances can certainly say that they are as prepared as they can be. From improv lessons to working with scripts and intensely emotional lessons, the courses cover the entire spectrum of what the film world needs.

Het doel van mijn lessen is dat je in de toekomst onder elke omstandigheid open, zelfverzekerd, met plezier en vol fantasie en aanbod leer spelen en met een tekst leert omgaan. Of je nou in een voorstelling speelt, een lied moet zingen, op een set staat of auditie doet.

Ik hanteer niet één specifieke techniek of methode; ik geloof dat je als performer je eigen, op maat gemaakte gereedschapskist met verschillende tools moet samenstellen om jouw unieke talent te ondersteunen. Daar gaan wij samen aan werken. Door deze insteek zijn de lessen geschikt voor ieder niveau!

De tekst is in mijn les het uitgangspunt. Ik werk met bestaande monologen, dialogen, liedjes, filmscènes, sketches etc. Je mag zelf materiaal aandragen of ik kies het voor je uit. We kunnen ook aan specifieke audities/selftapes of optredens werken; alles is mogelijk.

In recent years, the audition process for actors via self-submitted tapes has quickly become the preferred method of casting directors. 90% of all 1st round auditions for film, theater and television are now held as self-tapes. This requires actors to develop the appropriate technical skills to perform a successful self-tape audition.

The advantage is that today you can film auditions in the comfort of your own home. you can make as many tries as you want until you have the ideal tape.
In addition, you no longer have to make time to audition, and you save a lot of travel costs.

The workshop consists of 6 working weeks. After these sessions, the actor will have performed 6 scenes from 1 film or play - including 2 takes per scene.
In short, you will have created a total of 12 self-tapes yourself.

In this workshop you will be taken on a journey of discovery into the practical and artistic requirements for making effective self-tapes.

The sessions include practical “do's and don'ts”, as well as thorough and creative script analysis.
