About Me
What methodology do I use in my classes? Here's a summary so you can get to know me better and see how I work with all of you.

My methodology is ongoing. It's not just the hours we give each week, but also the time you spend working on exercises, drills, review, etc., and we use the classes to learn new things. (At the beginning of the class, I always take 5-10 minutes to ask you questions about what we've learned, so you can refresh your knowledge each day.)

I like to prepare classes based on your needs, your background, and any problems or difficulties you encounter. We build everything around that.

During the week, we'll prepare vocabulary, grammar, speaking, and writing skills; we'll explain how to do them and what strategies are needed. You'll also need to do listening and reading exercises, which we'll then correct in class. (There's another mediation section in EOI.)

I'll teach you everything you need to pass the exam and communicate without any problems, and you'll also enjoy the language while traveling around the world.

I like the classes to be comprehensive, useful, and helpful for you, so that you can benefit from them in the future. I like to make the most of the time spent in class and during the classes, ensuring that you participate a lot.

(I require collaboration and hard work from the student; I am demanding and believe that a job well done always leads to good results.) On the other hand, I teach classes at a fast pace and I am equally demanding of myself when offering classes.

Do my students have results?
I really couldn't be happier, as most of my students have gone from getting poor grades to very good results. All of my B2 and C1 students managed to pass the exam with good grades. With hard work, anything is possible!

Regarding my experience, I've worked in language academies, schools, and colleges, preparing all kinds of exams and teaching people with different goals. Currently, I'm dedicated exclusively to all of you, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., teaching you everything you need. (*Check availability*)

I always try to improve as a teacher, keeping up to date with everything that comes up and giving my all to achieve the expected results.

I am a certified Canadian educator, and my teaching experience includes Primary Years Cambridge curriculum in English Language Arts, English Literature, Maths, Humanities and Global Perspectives for both Primary Years (Grades 3,4,6 and Lower Secondary. I also have experience teaching Personal, Social, Health Education (PSHE) as well as Physical Education, and life skills for classes in both Primary, Lower and Upper Secondary.

My education philosophy is rooted in pedagogy which is focused on the empowerment of children, teachers and parents to support the full development of children and assist in maintaining a joyful environment in which children can thrive, learn and realize their potential in a fun way.

Why is this important? Well, firstly, a happier childhood in which children are equipped with a keen sense of themselves can help them to better transition into adulthood.

What I have realized is that a balance is required between academic learning and life skills which includes social, emotional learning. My work involves supporting a teaching approach which focuses on student and parent engagement working together to support the child's individual needs. In the classroom, it is supporting children to be engaged and motivated learners by focusing on a truly student-centered approach at their pace and level of understanding and moving towards their learning goals step by step. This approach not only builds tremendous self-confidence but also boosts the child's understanding that they are cared for and their personal identity is more than just their academic abilities; supporting the whole development of the child.

Upon recently completing a Masters of Arts in Childhood studies and Early Years, my autoethnographic dissertation on supporting well-being in international schools with third culture kids demonstrates that there is a need for a new approach towards well-being in schools. Well-being support is necessary for all children and cannot be compartmentalized but requires an integrated and unique approach.

The goal of my teaching approach is to support students to have a happy childhood by helping schools to support their student’s well-being in a more integrated and engaging way since our approaches towards children greatly impacts their personal development.
