Let me introduce myself, I am Ambar, and an International student at the University of York studying Ph.D. in Chemistry. I am in the first year of my Ph.D. and join York in September 2022.
I am interested in working in this respectful position as it offers a flexible working arrangement because of which I can avoid conflicting with my academic commitments.

I am an experienced tutor:

English all ages and stages up to GCSE
Biology up to A-level level.
Chemistry up to A-level
Mathematics from beginners up to As
Arabic from beginners up to A-levels
Grammar school entry exams; 11+

I aim to adapt to the nature of the class to the needs of the student, I am very flexible and my approach isn't fixed because I understand each student has a different learning ability. I set Homeworks without overloading the student but to actually make the information get fixed and be put into practice.
Also, I'm more than happy to repeat information and explain topics that students might have missed in school or at college and haven't understood.
I try to make this experience effective by employing intaractive teaching.
I also offer updates to the parents on the progress of their child in a kind way where they are able to participate in their child's learning and feel involved in reminding the child to do homework in case they forget to.

I will be first assessing the student's needs and weaknesses as well as their strengths to provide me with a guideline on where to start.
I could also provide Mock exam sessions to boost and strengthen the student's performance and confidence.
