I am a dedicated Mathematics tutor with experience in teaching IB and GCE level students. You can contact me for both MYP and DP. My services are available online and also in-person in The Hague and surrounding areas.

Throughout my academic career, I have achieved outstanding results. I was a straight-A student in my GCE O-level and A-level studies. I have also studied additional mathematics in my O-levels, giving me a strong background in the fundamentals of mathematics.
My own personal experiences have helped me understand the significance of achieving good academic results as they provide a solid platform for gaining admission to the best universities worldwide.

Teaching style:
As no two students are the same, I believe in having a flexible teaching style. This allows the student to gain the most out of each tutoring session. My focus will always be to have an interactive session in order to keep the student engaged and actively learning.
I believe that practice is essential for learning mathematical concepts. So after explaining the concepts, I will encourage students to solve practice questions themselves to actively apply what they have learned.

At the end of a session, I will assign homework to help students reinforce their learning.

I am a kind, well natured and easy to talk to person. Tutoring students gives me the chance to have a positive impact on their lives as they begin to pave their future career paths.
During my time as a student, I realized the influence that private tutoring had on my academic results. It propelled me to study from the best universities and hence have a better career path. I can use this expertise to help students achieve better results and realize their full potential.

A great teacher is always observant of how a student responds to a tutoring session. My method will be to work with the student at a pace they find comfortable. This will enable the student to remain engaged and always gain something from a tutoring session. After all, this is the aim of private tutoring.

I am Lorenzo, an Italian guy studying International Studies in The Hague.
I graduated last year in an Italian high school in Castelfranco Veneto, my hometown.
The school I went to was a “Liceo Scientifico”, characterized for giving an accurate and complete preparation in scientific subjects such as Maths and Physics as well as more humanistic disciplines, for example Latin, Italian literature, Art and Philosophy.
Two years ago I lived for a year in Chile through an exchange program that gave me the chance to study for a year in South America. TU Delft is Europe's most prestigious university for aerospace studies, preparing some of the best engineers. However the selection procedure is tough and demanding, and only those prepared have a chance to succeed.

As a TU Delft student, I know from first hand how stressfull this process is, and can therefore help you succeed in the preparation of these exams. I have previous experience as a tutor back in high school, helping students improve their grades from Cs to As.

My students consistently progress from struggling with coursework to staying ahead of their class, developing both competence and confidence in these challenging subjects.

Not everyone has mastered the right learning method. That's why I first work with the student to determine what's causing them to struggle with math. Once that's been done, I'll help the student figure out how best to approach it. Then, I explain using the material provided by the school, paying particular attention to the material the student finds difficult. Practice is crucial in this subject, and we'll do plenty of that in addition to clarifying the theory.
