Hello everyone! My name is Anni, a Hungarian violinist and I am a recent academic graduate with a Master degree in Music. I did my Master studies in Rotterdam in the Netherlands and recently moved to Ghent.
I give violin lessons to people of all ages from beginners until bachelor. Besides this basic music theory and initiation piano lessons too.
I speak fluently Hungarian, English, A2 level German, and started to learn Dutch too.
The lessons are built by personal wishes and developing their musical talents step by step.

Hi,
I am Anni, a 24 years old violinist from Hungary. I am a recent academic graduate with a Master degree in Music. I did my Master studies in Rotterdam in the Netherlands and recently moved to Ghent.
In my private student teaching experience I taught music education and violin to all ages. I adore music and find great joy in helping people to see the beauty of it. During my time as a student I have also been giving private lessons of violin and basic music theory. I am organized, with a good sense of time management and able to handle multiple tasks. But above that, I'm passionate and I can say that music is not just part of my profession but also part of myself. I believe that this mindset and these characteristics are a major help when teaching.

I started playing violin at the age of 6, and studying with numerous professors made me realize how important an individualized pedagogical approach is for good development. My aim is to motivate students to be creative and enjoy playing music, helping them express their own ideas. A relaxed and natural technique is always one of my focuses, to avoid future injuries and to find ease while playing that will allow you to explore your musicality and feel free.

Tailor-made cello lessons for all ages and levels!

I studied at the conservatories of Antwerp and Ghent and obtained my master's degree as a performing musician and my diploma in specific teacher training. In addition to experience as a performing musician, I am also active as a teacher of solfège and cello. I have experience as a teacher with children and adults.

Would you like to learn to play the cello? Or would you like to improve your technique? Be sure to send me a message and we will make a schedule based on your wishes, agenda and interests! Being able to read notes is not a must, we can also tackle this during the lessons.

My approach is about discovering music from different angles and sensations, from listening and touching to reading and learning, which creates a good balance for an efficient and relaxed way of working.

I focus on technique, musicality, analyse, but mostly I try to demonstrate how these are all bound together.

I only work with scores (music sheets) which is according to me the best way to learn. I encourage classical repertoire but I’m open to anything.

Clarinet lessons at all levels: from absolute beginners to advanced players.
For me as a teacher it is very important to start from the wishes, needs and competences of the student himself.
You can follow lessons via webcam, or at your home near the Ghent - Kortrijk region.

Today - after completing an extensive selection procedure - Laurens is professionally active as a clarinetist with the Royal Marine Band, one of the prestigious orchestras of the Belgian army.

In addition to his education at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent, Laurens has had the opportunity to learn several times in a number of masterclasses by, among others, Arno Piters (Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra), Davide Lattuada (Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra), Bart de Karter (New Amsterdam Clarinet Quartet), Pascal Moragues (Orchester de Paris), Ricardo Mataredonna (The La Monnaie Theatre), David Van Maele (Royal Music Chapel of the Guides), Bart Watté (Royal Music Chapel of the Guides) etc.

Both as a freelancer and an active member, Laurens has played in various orchestras, such as the Royal Band of the Belgian Air Force, Frascati Symphonic, the Euregio Youth Orchestra, the Mahler Student Festival Orchestra, La Chapelle Sauvage, Flanders Young Symphony Orchestra, the Ghent University Symphony Orchestra, the Ghent University Harmony Orchestra...

Since 2021, Laurens has been a member of the Meraki Wind Quintet, with which he has already successfully participated in a number of competitions, including the IMC International Music Competition 2023 (1er Prix à l'unanimité), the Euterpe Music Awards 2022 (gold prize), the Classic Pure Vienna International Music Competition 2022 (special mention), and the Fanny Mendelssohn International Online Competition 2022/23 (second prize).

In addition, Laurens is also active as a conductor, both in a symphonic and harmonic orchestra. He takes conducting lessons with Kristiina Posska (chief conductor of Flanders Symphony Orchestra), Bart Picqueur (composer and conductor) and Dimitri Bracke (conductor) and is active as a permanent conductor with the Fantasietjes in the Muziekvereniging Bellegem and freelance with various other associations.

Customized lessons:
Teaching beginning children, beginning adults, or experienced students are completely different experiences that require completely different methods.

A constant focus in all cases is to ensure that students learn notation and music reading, which gives them some independence.

As a first step, I create a plan together with the student, depending on his or her personal goals, and supplement this with musical pieces that I think will complement the learning path.

Practical information:

I am available for online classes from August and at home from September 15, but I will not close schedules until the beginning of October.

Hello! My name is Marcos, I am a clarinetist and I live in Brussels. I offer private lessons in person (they can be at your place or mine) or online.
I have experience as a teacher for the last few years with children, adults, individual and group classes. Professional or amateur level.
In my lessons, I help students find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of auditory skills, a sense of rhythm and optimal use of the body, allowing them to connect with their musical imagination.
