Ableton Live for Music Makers - taught by a professional song writer, producer, Playback Engineer with 20 years experience

I teach music through a practical, student-led approach focused on real-world skills, confidence, and creative independence.
My goal is not just to show what to do, but to explain why it works, so students can apply the knowledge across styles, tools, and situations.
Teaching techniques and methods:
I tailor lessons to each student rather than following a rigid syllabus. Teaching is hands on and example driven, using demonstrations, guided exercises, and problem solving. I focus on breaking complex ideas into simple, usable steps, and I prioritise understanding over memorisation. For production and DJ students, this means working directly in their software or setup; for instrumentalists, it means technique applied immediately to music they care about.
A typical lesson plan:
Each lesson usually begins with a short check-in: what have you been working on? What’s got you stuck? And what do you want to do next? We then focus on one or two clear objectives—such as improving a technique, understanding a concept, or developing a track or performance idea. Lessons end with a practical takeaway: a focused exercise, creative task, or workflow to work on between sessions. Including your own SAMPLY portal to share home work and ideas and track messages.
Special characteristics as a teacher
I bring professional, real-world experience into every lesson. I’m direct, patient, and honest about what works and what doesn’t. I’m especially good at helping students who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or self-critical regain clarity and momentum. I adapt quickly to different learning styles and keep lessons grounded and encouraging.
Who I teach
I teach teenagers and adults at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. This includes hobbyists, aspiring professionals, and working musicians who want to level up specific skills. I regularly work with students who are self-taught, returning to music after a break, neurodivergent, or lacking confidence. Lessons are adapted to individual goals, pace, and circumstances.

من أنا؟
I’m a professional musician, producer, and performer with over two decades of real-world experience across guitar, electronic music, DJing, and music production. I’ve worked extensively in studio, live, and touring environments, giving me a broad, practical understanding of how music functions beyond the classroom. My teaching is grounded in skills that translate directly into real outcomes—better playing, stronger creative decisions, and more confidence in musical situations.
I’ve worked with a wide range of artists, styles, and setups, which allows me to adapt quickly to different musical goals and learning styles. Whether a student is just starting out or looking to break out of repetitive habits, I focus on helping them understand how and why things work, not just how to copy shapes or patterns.
I’m reliable, structured, and direct in my approach, while keeping lessons supportive and tailored to the individual. I prioritise clarity and momentum in every session, making sure students leave with a clear understanding of what they’ve learned and how to apply it. Feedback is honest and constructive, aimed at progress rather than perfection.
I take teaching seriously and treat every student with respect, professionalism, and attention to their goals. Lessons are planned, focused, and paced to suit the student, creating an environment where curiosity, experimentation, and confidence can develop naturally over time.
