I am a qualified English teacher originally from Wales in the UK. I hold CELTA as well as a Bachelor and Masters degree. I originally trained as an opera singer and I enjoy listening and playing music, watching films, baking, running and yoga. I like to bring elements of mine and my student's hobbies into the lesson because the improvements tend to be greater when everyone is enjoying themselves. I'm a reliable and kind person, and I like to help people. I have a wealth of teaching experience that ranges from roles such as Learning Support Worker to Singing Teacher and Singing Workshop Leader to English Teacher and also Head of English. I have worked with a wide age range of students and feel comfortable assisting those with extra needs. I have also been a language student myself when I was learning German and Italian. I have great empathy with the challenges of learning a language and how personal they can be. I aim to make lessons fun and tailored to the students interests and needs and I am very excited to have the opportunity to help people improve their English skills.
