The vallenato accordion can be learned through music theory or through intuitive techniques and patterns just like the juglares of the past such as Alenadro Duran, Luis Enrique Martinez or Emiliano Zuleta (who is the composer of the famous piece La Gota Fria). The student can choose to learn the preferred way, or both ways at the same time.
