I specialise in teaching maths to a number of classes and pupils. My goal is to make sure learners acquire a sound knowledge of numbers, measures and structures, basic operations and basic mathematical presentations, an understanding of mathematical terms and concepts, and an awareness of the questions to which mathematics can offer answers. I assign homework after every lesson and provide periodic progress reports.

I specialize in teaching English from Nursery to KS4 and SAT/exam preps. My goal is to help improve students’ all-round ability in English. These classes will provide a balance of practice in reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills and will also cover grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. A coursebook will also be used during lessons. I additionally assign homework after every lesson and provide periodic progress reports.

Sociology adopts the perspective that individual behaviour can only be understood by studying people's social context and their webs of connection. This can lead the sociologist to many different topics of study from reproduction of inequalities in relation to social categories (such as race, class or gender), to the shaping of intimate relationships by wider cultural contexts, or the generation of resistance and protest by economic trends and crises. Your second and final year course units are usually assessed by a combination of coursework and examination. Other methods of assessment include: essays and other mid-term evaluations, which allow fuller development of and feedback on your knowledge and understanding dissertations, which promote the development of argument and fuller understanding of academic material and test the extent to which you can carry out work independently presentations and group projects, which promote teamwork and develop your communication skills.
