To give you an idea, areas we could cover include: Learning through making: In the studio Mark making, drawing, painting, collage, printmaking, mold-making, ceramics, plaster, textiles, found objects, installation Learning through making: New media Shooting video, making sound based field recordings, working with found footage, editing with Premiere, Final Cut, Photoshop, Logic Art in context: Movements of the 20th C., contemporary visual art, artist’s film and moving image, aesthetics and politics Professional practice: Putting together a portfolio, applying for art school, applying for funding and residencies, sustaining a practice Classes can be done individually, or if you'd like to bring a friend we can also arrange to work as a group.
