I teach conversational English. The initial purpose of my lessons is to get my students to practice speaking English. "Practice makes perfect", it's true, but during our practice sessions, we will soon discover our weak spots and we will have to address them. The real purpose is not just practice but IMPROVEMENT. So we will dedicate a portion of our sessions together to fixing pronunciation and learning the proper way to use tenses and grammar in everyday speech. We discuss movies, literature, politics, sports, music and anything that two friends might talk about. Role playing, in which we act out situations from everyday life can be a lot of fun. The topics of our conversations largely depend on your interests. By the end of this course, you should be able to speak English fluently and confidently.
