For KS3 or 11 plus preparation, my lessons will be centred around key skills: imaginative writing, reading comprehension, building vocabulary and SPaG. I have experience teaching GCSE English Literature and Language with Edexcel, AQA, OCR exam boards. In these sessions, I can cover all exam skills through scaffolded and differentiated resources, past papers and model answers. At A-level, I have taught AQA English Literature A, Literature B and Language A specs. In sessions, I can provide model essays, past papers and literary theories to develop academic writing and analysis. Marking and feedback can be provided. I adapt my teaching methods to suit each individual, ensuring regular assessment and high-quality feedback to push each student. I have high expectations for all of my students and strive to create a safe, creative and engaging environment.
