I am a native English speaker, with a focus on communication styles: formal, business, academic, etc. I can also teach the British accent. I teach with an immersive cultural approach - we will use books, news articles and media in the lessons. I have found that making classes relevant means students progress faster and enjoy learning more. Additionally, I customize classes to meet individual student needs. This means we will first assess your areas of strengths and weaknesses, and make a plan for how to achieve your goals. I am passionate about helping students progress to the next level. I know that learning another language is not easy for everyone, and I am sympathetic to different learning styles and requirements, adapting my teaching methods.
