Hello! I have just completed my A-levels (predicted A*, A, A) at Stoke Newington School and Sixth Form, and I'd like to tutor GCSE and SAT students in English Literature and Language (my favourite subject) during my gap year. I have experience working with children and teenagers as a qualified assistant swimming instructor, as well as helping my younger brother improve and maintain his grades. I have also worked with children with special needs. My teaching methodology emphasises positive reinforcement and planning. I break down the syllabus into manageable chunks, and make sure to explain new concepts as simply as possible. The GCSE English curriculum may appear daunting, but I promise to demystify it. As a level 9 (A**) student, I know what is required to achieve top marks. My main priority is helping all of my students to achieve their full potential.
