As a dedicated ESL Teacher, I have strong assessment skills, goal-oriented with motivation to educate new and existing students in the English Language. I have proven abilities in working with a wide-range of age levels providing appropriate and creative instruction. I currently work as an online Business English tutor and conduct private ESL lessons to expats within Zimbabwe. My 6 years of experience have made me become a more compassionate teacher and person who remains sensitive to a student’s unique needs, employ effective listening and provide support. My international work experience in Italy and interaction with other professionals of different backgrounds has opened up my mind to new working environments, given me the chance to develop my cross-cultural communication skills as well as learning to overcome obstacles, giving me greater flexibility and creativity in problem solving. My goal is to foster and maintain an open, honest, communicative and support classroom in which each student feels safe, secure and appropriately challenged.
