I’ve been performing for over 20 years, teaching for 3, and love working with singers to find the truth in their storytelling. It’s so much fun to tell someone else’s story (pun intended!). When you sing, it’s good to get some honest and constructive feedback on what is going well, what could be improved on, and how to get there. I am a supportive and encouraging coach - I love seeing my students succeed. I’m here so you can practice in a safe environment, make some mistakes, learn from them, and come out the other side better than ever! I will help you work on strengthening your technique so that you don’t injure your instrument. With the stronger technique, you’re less likely to damage your voice, more likely to have vocal longevity, and feel more confident in your ability so that you nail your next performance! I am a qualified and registered primary school teacher available for private online tutoring. I can set work that can extend, complement and challenge students' current abilities, or I am able to offer support with work that has been set by my student's school. I have three years' experience teaching full time in New Zealand, and have planned, taught, and assessed students from 5-13 years old. My goal is to ensure that my students feel successful and positive about their learning. I do this by creating positive relationships with every learner, and making sure I cater to their needs and interests directly through my teaching.
