Veel ouders herkennen dit: eerst lijkt er niets aan de hand, maar ineens komen er onvoldoendes voor wiskunde, scheikunde of andere exacte vakken. De stof wordt sneller en moeilijker, en leerlingen raken ongemerkt de draad kwijt. Wat begint met één onvoldoende kan snel uitgroeien tot structurele achterstand, stress voor toetsen en een gebrek aan zelfvertrouwen.

Op school is er vaak te weinig tijd om iedereen persoonlijk te helpen. Daardoor blijven sommige leerlingen zitten met vragen die nooit echt goed worden uitgelegd.

Met gerichte en persoonlijke bijles help ik leerlingen om die achterstanden weg te werken en de stof eindelijk écht te begrijpen. Ik leg moeilijke onderwerpen duidelijk en stap voor stap uit, zodat leerlingen niet alleen betere cijfers halen, maar ook weer rust en vertrouwen krijgen bij toetsen en examens.

Ik heb een VWO Natuur & Gezondheid achtergrond en studeer in de medische/dentale richting, waardoor ik veel ervaring heb met exacte vakken zoals scheikunde, biochemie en wiskunde.

Veel ouders wachten tot de cijfers al laag zijn of het examenjaar begint, maar vroeg ingrijpen maakt het verschil tussen blijven worstelen of weer vooruitgang boeken.

Ik geef bijles in verschillende vakken op middelbaar niveau, in o.a. wiskunde, natuurkunde, biologie, Nederlands, Engels en economie.

Ik geef al jaren bijles in verschillende vakken aan leerlingen van alle leeftijden.

Zelf studeer ik op het moment linguistics aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam. Op het vwo volgde ik een natuur&techniek-profiel, waardoor ik ook alles afweet van wiskunde en natuurkunde zoals die vakken op middelbaar niveau onderwezen worden.

I am Lorenzo, an Italian guy studying International Studies in The Hague.
I graduated last year in an Italian high school in Castelfranco Veneto, my hometown.
The school I went to was a “Liceo Scientifico”, characterized for giving an accurate and complete preparation in scientific subjects such as Maths and Physics as well as more humanistic disciplines, for example Latin, Italian literature, Art and Philosophy.
Two years ago I lived for a year in Chile through an exchange program that gave me the chance to study for a year in South America. I grew up in-between Mexico and the Netherlands and completed a bilingual education in English and Spanish. I passed my GCSE examinations after Grade 10 and attained a final score of 42/45 points in the IB in 2021. After graduating from a United World College, I move to The Hague to study at Leiden University, where I obtained a BA in International Law (summa cum laude).

I started tutoring at 14, but only began doing it regularly four years later at the IB level. My professional experience has also included college-level student assistantships. My approach to learning is influenced by my own diverse background. I have studied under different systems in the Mexico, the Netherlands and France, which allowed me to experiment with various learning methods and discover what works and what doesn't. When it comes to the IB, I especially understand how to structure written assignments (including IAs, TOK essay and the EE) and have several tips to achieve the highest results.

TU Delft is Europe's most prestigious university for aerospace studies, preparing some of the best engineers. However the selection procedure is tough and demanding, and only those prepared have a chance to succeed.

As a TU Delft student, I know from first hand how stressfull this process is, and can therefore help you succeed in the preparation of these exams. I have previous experience as a tutor back in high school, helping students improve their grades from Cs to As.

Moreover, I have an extensive knowledge on the subjects tested on these exams, having taken them myself, completed the courses at university with excellent grades and teaching over 10 students for the entrance exam.

Niet iedereen heeft de juiste manier van leren onder de knie. Daarom zoek ik eerst samen met de leerling uit wat ervoor zorgt dat wiskunde moeilijk gevonden wordt. Zodra dat gedaan is, zal ik de leerling helpen met hoe hij/zij dit het beste kan aanpakken. Vervolgens leg ik uit met behulp van de stof die de school opgeeft en let ik vooral op de stof die door de leerling als lastig ervaren wordt. Oefenen is bij dit vak erg belangrijk. Dat zullen we naast het verhelderen van de theorie heel veel doen.

Als ik de stof van tevoren doorgestuurd krijg, zal ik mijn bijlessen altijd voorbereiden. Zo kan ik de leerling optimaal helpen voor een bijles van hoge kwaliteit.

Ik zal ook alvast duidelijk maken dat domme vragen niet bestaan bij mij. Ik zal altijd begrip voor je hebben als je er eventjes niet uitkomt of misschien iets uit voorgaande jaren niet paraat hebt. Er is altijd een reden waarom je bijles aanvraagt en ik zal je altijd steunen bij moeilijkheden.
