English classes for beginner of intermediate level students. This class is dynamic, interesting, and interactive!
This class engulfs all the elements of the language: Speaking, listening, writing, comprehension, and grammar as well.

You will learn to speak, understand, and write in English and well as improve your English grammar.

English is one of the most important international languages in the world. This class is an opportunity for you to learn English from a native speaker.

We will have English conversation and writing lessons and we will develop our listening and comprehension skills. It will be an interesting and interactive course which will adapt to the personal needs and goals of the student.

My name is Fatimah. I am a law student at UCLouvain. I am trilingual (English-French- Wolof), but English is my mother-tongue. I also speak a little bit of Dutch and an infinitesimal amount of Spanish.

I am dynamic, motivated and cheerful. I am also patient, responsible and punctual. I'm quite thorough and meticulous about my work. I love meeting new people.

When I'm not teaching or studying law, I love to cook and play volleyball.

Opleiding

I am currently a law student at UCLouvain. I have an O-level GCSE in the English language and in English literature. I studied at the British school of Brussels. I also have a CESS diploma.

I have been teaching English for the past two years. I have two students at the age of 5 and 9, respectively. I love learning languages just as much as I love teaching them.

Wishing to help people, my goal is to coach you at best in the world of work (student as more senior profiles).

I have a master's degree in languages and am also studying to become a teacher. The lesson can be built up in consultation. It is possible to focus on speaking English instead of writing in this lesson, so that you quickly become a fluent language student. We can also focus further on a more school-oriented approach if you want to prepare for exams, for example.

I obtained a BA degree in English Language and Literature, as well as an English MA degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology at KU Leuven. This academic background has laid the foundation for my theoretical knowledge of the English language, especially my reading and writing skills. Additionally, I spent a semester in Dublin in order to improve my 'hands-on' speaking skills. I have a genuine passion for the English language which I hope to pass on to my students.

For my classes, I sit down with students to discuss their needs, and attune my course content accordingly. I try to combine theory with practice to keep the classes interesting and lively. Listening and reading skills are especially important in the learning process as they are essential elements to developing an intuitive sense of a language. Furthermore, I attempt to incorporate audiovisual material in order to keep the course content engaging. I am also always happy to discuss and/or lend English books, graphic novels, podcasts, films, music, YouTube clips etc with/to my students.
