In this class, I will present an introduction to pharmacology. As a former alcohol and cannabis researcher, I had to learn a lot about what substances commonly referred as drugs are AND what they do to the body. In this course, we will study major drug classes. We will read some of the latest literature on these drug classes. We will also explore how pharmacological studies could help inform public health legislation.

Hi Everyone! My name is Mr. Marc. I am a high school biology teacher in New York City and a rising M1 medical student.
I have been in education as a tutor, teaching assistant, and now teacher for the past 10 years.
My expertise is in French language & linguistics, Creole studies, and biomedical sciences. While I teach biology in the class, I have also been a private French instructor for the past 5 years. As someone from a Creole family from Louisiana, I did not grow up hearing much French. But it was always an important part of me. I started learning French as a child, and now I speak it fluently. Introduction to Neuroscience: Advanced H.S. or Intro College-Level Science Course

In this course, we will review an overview of the nervous system. We will distinguish the functioning of the central and peripheral nervous system. As this course is an overview, we will review basic neurophysiology, neuroanatomy, and neuropathology.

French Class for English Speakers- Option to take advanced class focused on Pronunciation & Grammar

This online class can be modified for all levels. In the beginner classes, we will start from the basics of the French language, including grammar, pronunciation, accent mark studies, and Francophone studies. We can also modify each lesson to be anywhere between 0.5 and two hours.

French is a global language, spoken on every major continent. Even where French no longer holds official status, it very well might hold an official status. I can confidently build both fluency and proficiency as well as build your understanding of the francophone world.
