My name is Sarah and I have a degree in European Studies and Modern Languages. My studies focused on cultural studies, literature, philosophy, and academic writing in English and German. During the last two years, I have been working as an English teacher at two local institutions in Cyprus. During the first one, I designed lessons and taught English to 51 students, from Pre-Junior to Pre-Primary. This position was only temporary, as I was a substitute for another teacher who was on maternity leave. Then, I was hired by a local Primary School in Limassol, where I worked as a Teaching Assistant, Literature Teacher, and Summer School Coordinator. Finally, from September to December, I worked at another local Language School in Nicosia as an English teacher, where the levels were the same as mentioned above. At the moment, due to COVID 19, I am looking for students, children but also adults, whom I'll be providing online classes. Last but not least, for the last three months I have started teaching German as well, levels of A1 to B2. Vision / Ways of Teaching: Collaborative learning / Behavior management through comprehension / Collaborative learning My main teaching methods are the above-mentioned techniques. But the most important thing for me is to teach through communication, understanding, and fun.
