Conversational English language lessons designed to assist beginners through to advanced-level students

My class is for anyone wishing to improve on their English language skills. My goal is to help students gradually develop confidence with using everyday English and my classes will be tailored to the individual needs/wants of every student. I specialise in conversational practice, but can also assist students wishing to focus on reading, grammar and pronunciation. I am also happy to design homework tasks that are suitable for what every student is hoping to achieve.

I was born in the UK and moved to Australia with my family when I was five years old.
After spending the past five years working at The University of Sydney, I decided to move to Tokyo for a change of environment and a completely new experience. I speak Japanese conversationally, and currently, receive private Japanese lessons three times per week.
I'm particularly interested in photography, English literature, sports (cycling and football) and education.

Opleiding
In 2013 I graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Arts (Media and Communications) degree. I studied English Literature, Modern History and Gender Studies as my electives.
Leservaring
I have taught a wide range of students over the past ten years, in both English language and English literature classes and 1:1 environments.
-I taught English literature and writing classes for elementary and junior high school level students at a private education college in Sydney, Australia, from 2012-2016. This included test preparation classes, and 1:1 English language tuition for students with beginner/intermediate English.
-I have also worked for two years as a private academic tutor for high school and university students, specialising in English Literature and History.
