I believe in getting to know the pupil, to understand what motivates them and then find that music, which will give pleasure and the will and drive to master it. In an exam scenario this sometimes means exploring repertoire outside the published book and looking at the alternative pieces as well. I teach by offering a broad experience, which not only teaches the notes but looks at the shape, the keys, the tone colours, the form and the composer's background. I am known for my patience and ability to explore the work in detail.

Maybe you’ve been dreaming of playing the piano for a while now. Perhaps you played a little as a child but stopped somewhere along the way. Or maybe you simply love the sound of the piano and the black and white keys and often think: ‘I wish I could do that’.
But then these thoughts appear:
‘I don’t have enough time’
‘The music school is too far away.’
‘What if it’s too difficult for me?’
‘My work schedule doesn’t allow fixed lesson times.’
Here’s the good news: you don’t have to wait any longer. Now is the right moment to start.

The solution? Online piano coaching.
As a musician and piano teacher, I understand these struggles very well. I personally had a hard time with the rigid structure of traditional music schools, and for a the longest time I didn’t know how to practise efficiently. How do you make progress without feeling overwhelmed? How do you combine learning music with a busy life?
Through years of experience, trial and error, , and a lot of searching, I found my own way, sometimes unconventional, sometimes surprising, but always with a lot of love for music.
