Conversation: Build your English conversation skills and speak like a native American speaker! I have many exercises to build conversation. We can start with very interesting articles+vocabulary made for English students.
Pronunciation: I have a technique to improve students' pronunciation which many students have found effective.
Business English: I use the Market Leader series of books which have great exercises to practice conversation in actual and Zoom meetings, presentations, interviews and specific business areas such as sales, management, finance and marketing. There are practice conversations, vocabulary, grammar, great conversation subjects as well as 'role play' which is very effective if not fun!
TOEFL and IELTS Exams: I teach all aspects of these exams including speaking, listening, reading and writing. I can give test-taking tips and we can hone your skills while doing sample exams.
Slang, Idioms and Phrasal Verbs: Learn to speak like a native with these casual conversation skills. I have books on idioms so that we can randomly introduce common ones, and I have huge phrasal verb lists. I'm well-versed in slang being a native of the United States and I particularly know California slang because that is where I'm from.
