If you are interesting in learning Spanish as a second language but do not know where to start, I can help you!
My goal is to keep students engaged with the language so they will enjoy the learning process. If you are a beginner (absolute or you already know some Spanish) we will cover all the aspects of the language (grammar, writing, vocabulary, pronunciation, culture!) we can in the time we have so you become as advanced with your knowledge as possible. If, on the other hand, you are an intermediate/advanced user of Spanish and are interested in conversation clases to keep up with it and improve your speaking and listening skills, we can do that as well!

About Me

¡Hola! My name is Ángela and I am a Spanish 26 years old girl. I am from Asturias, a region in the North of Spain. I am currently living in Geneva.
I am very excited about teaching my mother tongue since I love learning new languages! Besides English (C2 level) have also studied French for many years (C1 level).

Education

Dual Bachelor in International Studies and Business Administration and MBA in International Management. I have been studying English for 22 years now and French for 12 years.

Spanish conversation sessions for intermediate/advanced level

If you are an intermediate/advanced user of Spanish and are interested in conversation clases to keep up with it and improve your speaking and listening skills, I am your person! We can discuss from small talk to more complicated issues, such as politics, technology, etc. We can also listen to and talk about Spanish music, so you can get familiar with the different accents besides mine (Castilian Spanish). Also, if you are interested in some "homework", I can recommend you Spanish series and movies that we can discuss afterwards in class.

To know a language is to be able to speak it. Too often, we do not learn vocabulary lists and grammar rules, without being able to utter a single word. This does not interest me!
My goal when I learn a language is to speak it, to communicate, to be able to fend for myself without the aid of a translator, and to learn through the language the mysteries of culture.
When I exercise my role as a teacher, I always have these same goals in mind. I therefore base my courses in a communicative approach that aims to be able to talk and share since the first class. For this I use role plays, scenarios, dialogues and other exercises related to the reality of the learner.
