I enjoy teaching both online and in a classroom. I would tailor my classes to the needs of my students. We can meet in a café or whichever location is preferred. Also, I offer online classes. I strive to teach in a relaxed environment and in a manner the student wishes. The so-called natural approach teaching method is very popular nowadays and I find it quite useful and rewarding. I have taught students of all ages. I am keen on teaching kids as much as teaching seniors. I possess a CELTA certificate for teaching English and have completed all my education in the USA. I am open to any suggestions and preferences in terms of methods of teaching. The classes can be held online or face to face. I have been living in Spain for the last three years and have experienced teaching in the Academy as well as a freelancer. After finishing Fine Arts and Design, I worked as a designer for more than ten years. For the last six years, I have been teaching English. In my free time, I enjoy painting, hiking, singing, and gardening. I have been fortunate to live abroad for many years and learn about different cultures and their ways of living.

Opleiding

I finished Highschool in Georgia, USA. In 2005 I gained an AA degree in the CFCC. Then I transferred my credits to the USF and graduated with the BA Art Studio in 2007. In 2008 I studied graphic design and web design and in 2009 CAD. A year ago I completed a CELTA course.

Leservaring

I have taught English for the past four years. I was teaching online for 2 years and then I taught in the Academy for six months. Now I teach again online and give private lessons as well.

English is the most spoken language in the world. I have level C2 in English. I took the Cambridge exam. I have previously given English classes to students, adults, etc. For me it is better to teach it with books but also through examples or tastes. For example if you like soccer, I can use that. I am Dutch.
