As America is, largely due to Americanization, the premier export of Black culture on a global scale, the importance of African American culture and history are currently at an all-time high.
The classes provided in this course will revolve around African American history and how it ties into colonialism, the suppression of additional minorities and the expressions of African American culture on a global scale.
