Hello everyone,

I would like to introduce my self by starting by telling you how much I am into Ecology and Biology :) I was in love with nature since I was a little kid and since then everything that I have done had something to do with Ecology and more specifically with environmental protection. I was even a founder of an NGO that was focused on raising awareness especially with kids and that extended to international cooperation with other Ecological NGOs.

Opleiding

I was attending a Faculty of Natural science in Kragujevac in Serbia, where I've obtained a Masters degree in Biology with a Major in Ecology, also I have several certificates in Project making in this specific area of expertise.

Honestly, I haven't had any opportunity to use it since I've moved to Malta :) I am working and living in Malta for just over three years and I have discovered my American accent.

The lessons run as follows. First, we look together for the student's biggest stumbling blocks. These can be related to the subject matter as well as to the study method. From there, I work at the pace of the student and encourage them to ask as many questions as possible. I also give tips and tricks, and improve their working methods where necessary. During the lesson I give many examples to make the subject matter more interesting and we solve exercises together. Once practiced from the lesson, I mastered challenging exercises to also test the deeper understanding of the subject matter. I completed Biology HL in IB with a 6 overall. I am now studying it at the university level and am ready to help students struggling with IB Biology SL. I am familiar with the syllabus and can help students break down complex topics into simpler concepts that are easy to digest.
