About me:
I have been learning music since I was a child. After winning my first vocal competition in Hungary, I decided to start a career as a singer. Since then I have performed as a singer with numerous Hungarian and Austrian jazz bands, big bands and symphony orchestras. I share cover songs and original music on my YouTube-channel with more than 20000 subscribers. I studied jazz vocal performance at a Western European music university.

Over the years I have collected many exercises, techniques and tips that I can help my students to improve their voices day by day. I adapt my method individually to each student. I will share some of my favorite breathing and singing exercises with you. If you are interested in songwriting and music theory, we can work on those topics as well.

My lessons are open for beginners and advanced singers too.
I can teach in English, German and Hungarian.

Jawa (1996) a Syrian oud player, singer and composer.
I was born in Aleppo, and I grew up in Damascus, Syria. I started playing music at the age of eleven. I chose the Oud as my instrument because my father used to play it everyday at home when I was young. My name is Eman, I'm a certified Voice & Speech Therapist at Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt.
Working at Demrdash Hospital & Ain Shams Specialized Hospital as a Voice & Speech Therapist.

I trained as a voice therapist and also completed advanced training in the Alexander technique, the Smith accent method in voice therapy.

1- Organic causes: physiological voice disorders that result from alterations in respiratory, laryngeal, or vocal tract mechanisms.

A) Structural: organic voice disorders that result from physical changes in the vocal mechanism, such as:
- Polyps.
- Vocal Nodules.
- Edema
- Cysts on the vocal cords, growths that aren't cancer.

B) Neurogenic causes: organic voice disorders that result from problems with the central or peripheral nervous system innervation to the larynx that affect functioning of the vocal mechanism, such as:
- Vocal tremor.
- Spasmodic dysphonia.
- Vocal fold paralysis.
- Vocal cord paralysis or weakness.

2- Functional causes: voice disorders that result from inefficient use of the vocal mechanism when the physical structure is normal, such as:
- Vocal fatigue.
- Muscle tension Dysphonia or Aphonia.
- Diplophonia.

Experienced teacher of Oud and oriental Arabic singing for over 11 years, I am Lebanese and currently residing in Germany. I studied for 8 years at the Lebanese National Conservatory. I taught at the Casa Beethoven Academy in Lebanon and gave private lessons. In addition, I was conductor of the Loubnan Assalam oriental orchestra for over 5 years.

My recommendation for learning the Oud is to start with the study of notes and musical notation before tackling pieces. Although some students prefer to play songs directly, understanding the basics of musical notation allows for faster progress in the long run. With determination and hard work, significant progress can be made in a year, allowing one to play simple melodies.
