I am an Oxford graduate with over seven years tutoring experience, as well as wide experience in education more generally.
My wide range of experience teaching as well as thinking
about a variety of educational needs is something that I bring into my each leeson, ensuring that each student gets the fullest and most thoughtful attention.

من أنا؟
I graduated in 2015 from the University of Oxford with a BA in English Literature.
At university, I worked as a member of Oxford University’s Access team, spending a lot of time
talking to students across the country about the opportunities available to them as well as
building a really strong understanding of the University application process from public exams to
specific entry exams.
After University, I began tutoring for several agencies as well as independently (from 11+
to Degree level). I then traveled to Central America and Colombia where I taught English to
Spanish speakers. From there I traveled to Greece and wrote and taught an English language
syllabus to the residents of Faneromeni refugee camp. On my return from Greece, I worked for an
NGO teaching English to asylum seekers in the UK as well as continuing to tutor privately. I then
worked for the BBC, reading and writing reports on novels with the potential for adaptation into
screenplays, as well as screenplays with the potential for development.
I have just graduated with another BA in Fine Art. I have spent the past few years building
my art practice, as well as organizing and participating in several exhibitions. Recently, I have
been chosen to take part in Grayson Perry`s post-lockdown exhibition and won third place in
Sustainability First`s Art Prize, as judged by a panel Jeremy Till, head of Central Saint Martins and
Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the UAL, Kate Bryan, Head of Collections at Soho House and Arts
Broadcaster and Tabish Khan aka ‘The Art Critic’. My work will be published in a book following
the prize: Building from the Corona Crisis Toward a Sustainable Future.
My work is currently on show at the Foundry Art Center, St Charles, Missouri, as a part of their upcoming exhibition Global Impact. Upcoming shows include a group show at The Barge House, The Bermondsey Project Space as well as a solo show in Milan`s Fondazione Pini.
I continue to teach because it is endlessly fascinating getting to know each student’s
the particular learning process and working out the best way to enhance and expand on this in order
that they reach their full potential.
